Maintenance

GL Account Maintenance

The GL Account Maintenance function is used to maintain the valid set of General Ledger account numbers.

GL Journals

The GL Journals Maintenance function is used to maintain the list of journals in the general ledger system.

GL Periods Maintenance

The GL Periods Maintenance function is used to maintain the accounting periods specific for your company.

Entry

Journal Entry Batch

The Journal Entry Batch form is used to view all of the transaction in the general ledger system.

Post Batch

The Post Batch form is used to transfer all the recorded transactions not yet posted in the general ledger system.

Reports

General Ledger Report Selection

The General Ledger Report Selection form is used to create reports for accounts in the general ledger system.

Trial Balance Report Selection

The Trial Balance form is used to create a summarized trial balance report for all the accounts in the general ledger system.

Reports Maintenance

All of the analysis reports produced by the application using General Ledger data in the GL Finals Table are first defined as report templates.

The Modeling application provides the ability to define a broad range of report templates. Report Templates specify the accounting data to be accumulated and the ways in which it will appear on a report. At run time these report templates can be run against user-selected models, groups and physical print formats (e.g. number of columns, percent calculations, variance calculations, etc.). The underlying basis for the reports is the GL Finals Table, which summarizes GL Account activity by location to a single net amount by accounting period. The Trial Balance form is used to create a summarized trial balance report for all the accounts in the general ledger system.

Financial Statements Report Selection

The GL Report Writer function is used to print reports based on previously defined Report Template.

GL Budget Maintenance

This form is used to maintain budget codes and names.

This form is used to find out GL finals for a specified period.

Open New Fiscal Year

The Open New Fiscal Year form is used to start a new fiscal year.
